The Pima County Sheriff 's Department has closed Redington Road after heavy rains have fallen over the Catalina Mountains, and the National Weather Service has issued an urban and small-stream flood advisory for the Tucson Estates, Drexel Heights and Ryan Field areas.Â
Heavy rain is also expected into Sabino and Bear Canyon creeks and the Seven Falls area this evening, according to the NWS.
Scattered showers and thunderstorms are expected to continue through the evening with a 40 percent chance of rain.Â
