The University of ÃÛÁÄÖ±²¥ is canceling its winter commencement ceremony.
No mention was made of the reason for the change in an internal email sent today by Provost Andrew Comrie.
Comrie mentioned the cancellation briefly in the message announcing the spring commencement in May.
"Moving forward, a single university-wide commencement ceremony will occur at the conclusion of spring semester," the email reads.
"December graduates may choose to walk in the university commencement the semester prior or the semester after their official graduation."
The UA becomes the only one of the state's three public universities not to have a winter graduation ceremony.
