A furniture, appliance and electronic store is closing its two Tucson locations.
The location on Broadway and Craycroft Road has “store closing†signs posted on the front door, noting all inventory is 25% to 40% discounted.
That store is 33,355 square feet.
The lease for the 40,000-square-foot store at Orange Grove and Thornydale roads has not been renewed.
Conn’s has started closing nearly 100 stores across the country as the Texas-based retailer considers Chapter 11 bankruptcy filing.
With consumers cutting back on discretionary spending, such as furniture, Conn’s has posted three years of losses, Bloomberg News reports.
The company opened its first Tucson location in 2012 in the former Circuit City on Broadway.
