The Tucson area is under a blowing dust advisory, with winds up to 45 miles an hour expected across Pima and southern Pinal County late this afternoon and evening, forecasters say.
The advisory is from 2 p.m. to 11 p.m for the lower elevations of Southeast ÃÛÁÄÖ±²¥, the National Weather Service in Tucson says.
The Windy conditions created by expected thunderstorms will generally move west across Southeast ÃÛÁÄÖ±²¥, mostly south and east of Tucson from mid to late this afternoon.

The storms then are expected to move into the Tucson metro area late Wednesday afternoon and evening, the weather service said.
Dense blowing dust is possible, along with the formation of a haboob, the forecast says.
Ample moisture in the area is expected to result in scattered showers and thunderstorms.
