There’s no better feeling than supporting local and getting a good deal.
Now what if you could do both of those things AND get a delicious meal too!?
It’s that time of year again: has hit Tucson, giving you the opportunity to discover new local eateries without breaking the bank.
Sonoran Restaurant Week, produced by , is a 10-day event where various local restaurants create menus of discounted prix fixe meals. For its 7th year, they will feature 120 different restaurants, making it the biggest year yet.
Each of the participating restaurants will highlight a signature dish for breakfast, lunch and/or dinner, ranging from $15 to $55. From BBQ to Peruvian to Ethiopian, this year’s restaurant lineup has something for everyone.

Bashful Bandit BBQ is another restaurant that is featured this year.
“I'm personally excited about the value and price points,” Tucson Foodie Community Director Addie Ibarra said. “There are plenty of options starting at $15 going all the way to $55 and there are menus that'll feed anywhere from two to four people. It's special to have created something that's so inclusive. There are even a number of gluten free and vegan options as well!”
Looking to start your morning off with something sweet? You can head to where you’ll be able to chose from pastries like a Sonoran Hot Chocolate Babka, breakfast plates like Tucson Toast with spicy honey, and drinks like a spicy mocha with spicy cocoa cold foam all for $15.
For lunch, you can head over to for a Beef Tibs plate for $20. This specialty dish includes cubes of beef seared in kibe, awaze, onion, jalapenos, fresh rosemary and served with selata and tikil-gomen.
After work, grab your friends and enjoy dinner at . Their $45 prix fixe menu includes a first course with options like burrata verde, and scampi mojo de ajo. For the entrée, you get to choose between the halibut, the bucatini arrabbiata, or meatballs. Finally, you get to end your meal with a sweet treat: a tiramisu tres leches.
Rocco’s Little Chicago Pizzeria, Amelia’s Mexican Kitchen, Inca’s Peruvian Cuisine, BATA and Noodleholics are just a few of the other restaurants participating this year.
For those who want a more exclusive experience, special dinners will be offered each night of the week at select locations. So far, the lineup includes Nook (Sept. 6), Sunshine Wine (Sept. 7), BATA (Sept. 8), Kingfisher (Sept. 9), Dante’s Fire (Sept. 10), Hacienda del Sol (Sept. 11) and The Coronet (Sept. 140).
“We’ve also got a great lineup of special dinners each night during the 10 days of Sonoran Restaurant Week,” Tucson Foodie owner Shane Reiser said. “We did that last year and it was very successful so we’re bringing it back.”
