The Diocese of Tucson will celebrate a Mass for Pope Leo XIV on Sunday morning, May 18.
The Mass will begin at 10 a.m. at Saint Augustine Cathedral, 192 S. Stone Ave.
Reverend Gerald Kicanas, the apostolic administrator of the diocese, is set to officiate.

The Mass will include remarks about Pope Leo XIV, including him sending two Spanish-speaking priests to serve in Yuma as well as his visit to Tucson in 1999.
A second collection will benefit the Diocese of Chiclayo, Peru, where Pope Leo XIV served from 2015-23.
Robert Prevost became the first pope from the U.S. in the history of the Catholic Church when he was elected on May 8.
