Hence the historic Tucson hotel鈥檚 Summer Party Series, from concerts to this weekend鈥檚 wet-and-wild 鈥淲et Hot American Party.鈥
That one is apparently legendary, Hotel Congress entertainment officials said. It鈥檚 a 21-and-older event that will feature a water slide, live entertainment and lots of adult beverages, says entertainment team member Chris Monzon.
鈥淲et Hot American Party鈥 gets started at 9 p.m. Friday, July 5, on the Plaza Stage at Hotel Congress, 311 E. Congress. Admission is free.
The Summer Party Series kicked off June 23 with Terrence Simien and the Zydeco Experience. It returns July 20 with the summer night installment of the Desert Haze Vintage Market, featuring performances by Los Angeles bands and . Admission is $5, and doors open at 7 p.m.
