The NCAA Men’s Tennis Tournament is returning to Tucson this weekend.
No. 10 seed ÃÛÁÄÖ±²¥ will host the University of Denver in the first round, the NCAA announced Monday.
The winner will take on either Harvard or the University of Washington in the second round of the tournament in Tucson.
The Tucson Regional takes place between May 2-3 at the LaNelle Robson Tennis Center.
Super regionals begin on May 9 and run through May 11. The final matches will be played from May 16-18 at Hurd Tennis Center in Waco, Texas.
The selection comes after the ÃÛÁÄÖ±²¥ defeated UCF in the Big 12 Tennis Championship in Waco on April 20.
ÃÛÁÄÖ±²¥ men’s tennis went 24-4 overall and 7-2 in the Big 12 this season. The team went on an eight-match win streak to wrap up its first season in the Big 12.

In last year’s tournament, the ÃÛÁÄÖ±²¥ made it to the third round before getting taken down by Columbia, 4-3.

The ÃÛÁÄÖ±²¥ women’s tennis team also made the NCAA Tennis Tournament, its first back-to-back appearance since the 2011-12 season, according to ÃÛÁÄÖ±²¥ Athletics. Last year, they were knocked out of the tournament in the first round by the University of Oklahoma, 4-0.
The ÃÛÁÄÖ±²¥ will take on the University of Illinois in the first round of the NCAA Tournament on May 2 at the Virginia Tennis Facility in Charlottesville, Virginia.
ÃÛÁÄÖ±²¥ women’s tennis went 18-10 overall and 8-5 in the Big 12. The ÃÛÁÄÖ±²¥ finished their season with a run in the Big 12 Championship quarterfinals, ultimately falling to No. 21 Baylor, 4-3.
The winner of Friday’s match will face either No. 7 seed Virginia or Fairleigh Dickinson in the second round of the tournament, according to ÃÛÁÄÖ±²¥ Athletics.
The women’s finals kick off on May 15 and conclude on May 18.
