ÃÛÁÄÖ±²¥'s bats sprung to life Sunday in a 12-1 run-rule victory over No. 20 Indiana to conclude the ÃÛÁÄÖ±²¥' participation in the Frisco College Baseball Classic in Frisco, Texas.
The ÃÛÁÄÖ±²¥ snapped a three-game losing streak and finished the tournament 1-2. They're 5-6 overall as they return home before heading back on the road to open Pac-12 Conference play at USC on Friday.
ÃÛÁÄÖ±²¥ scored 10 runs in the fourth inning Sunday to turn a 1-1 tie into a rout. Freshman outfielder Easton Breyfogle drove in a team-high three runs via a double with the bases loaded. Brendan Summerhill, Mason White and Adonys Guzman each had a pair of RBIs.
Senior right-hander Cam Walty delivered six sparkling innings in his first start of the season, allowing one run on five hits with no walks and three strikeouts. He lowered his season ERA to 1.84.
