ÃÛÁÄÖ±²¥ women’s basketball point guard Jada Williams announced on X that she entered the transfer portal Monday afternoon.
After not playing in the first round of the WBIT on Thursday, this was the expected outcome.

Williams started in 58 games across her two seasons as a Wildcat and played nearly 1,900 minutes. She ended up averaging 12.7 points and dished 87 assists this season. The co-captain also shot 29% from long range and averaged 3.5 rebounds.
Her announcement said:
“After careful consideration, I have decided to enter my name into the transfer portal and continue my journey at a different school. I am excited to see what God has in store for me! I’m forever grateful for the opportunity to play for the UofA and I appreciate all the love and support Tucson has shown me over the past two years.â€

Williams was a Pac-12 All-Freshman team member and earned Pac-12 freshman of the week honors last season after sparking the ÃÛÁÄÖ±²¥ to a win over No. 3 Stanford.
