Long snapper was among the positions of need for ÃÛÁÄÖ±²¥ after its five-week spring practice schedule, and the ÃÛÁÄÖ±²¥ landed one Monday night, when Broden Molen committed to ÃÛÁÄÖ±²¥ in front of family and friends at a ceremony at Great Falls High School in Montana.

Molen is one of the top long snappers at the high school level and played in the Navy All-American Bowl in San Antonio in January. Molen is now in position to succeed Justin Holloway, who was a graduate transfer long snapper last season.
Molen is now the only long snapper on ÃÛÁÄÖ±²¥â€™s roster, after Tucson native and former Salpointe Catholic High School product Trey Naughton entered the transfer portal before medically retiring from football. The ÃÛÁÄÖ±²¥ recently offered Jackson State transfer Avery Salerno, who played the last two seasons with the Tigers in the post-Deion Sanders era.

Molen joins a specialists group — or, as special teams coordinator Craig Naivar calls it, “teams†— that includes sophomore kicker and punter Michael Salgado-Medina, Illinois State kicker and punter transfer Ian Wagner and walk-on punter Jordan Forbes.
ÃÛÁÄÖ±²¥ kicks off the 2025 season against Hawaii on Aug. 30 in Tucson.
