The SaddleBrooke SilverBelles dance performance team is happy to welcome our newest member, Fran Berman.

As early as eight years old ,Fran learned to dance watching broadcasts of American Bandstand and Boston Ballroom. While pursuing her B.A. at U. of Mass Boston, she took modern and jazz dance classes. After a year at La Sorbonne in Paris, she relocated to Southern California where she earned her M.B.A. at University of Redlands. She met her husband, Joe Vidmar, there, and over the years they took many ballroom classes and are now active in the SaddleBrooke Ballroom Dance Club. Fran also danced with the SaddleBrooke Line Dance Club.

Fran enjoys entertaining audiences in a variety of ways. In college, she played the lead witch in Hansel & Gretel and Rapunzel for elementary school audiences. As a junior high language teacher, she choreographed two of the school’s musicals. Later, she switched her career to sales, marketing and training in the computer industry where she spoke professionally for 20 years incorporating humor and storytelling in her business skills seminars. Since moving to SaddleBrooke in 2009, Fran has taught for the ILR, attended improv classes, participated in two Variety Shows as co-emcee and Roseanne Roseannadanna and has had prominent roles in four Community Circle Players’ productions.

The SilverBelles are excited to welcome such a talented performer and dancer to our group. Fran will be dancing in our upcoming November and December performances. We are currently taking bookings for 2026. To schedule a gig, email Terri Mullin at terri@mullinet.com.
